The Bahamas is one of the wealthiest Caribbean countries, with an economy heavily dependent on tourism and offshore banking. We were asked to work on a marketing strategy to advertise their new app which would promote their new bank note denominations throughout the various islands.
The emerald colour team got underway to really understand the culture and marketing strategy that would work for a country that is heavily reliant on tourism and retail. We would need to look at a brand/logo design and marketing collateral to engage and educate the general public and businesses throughout the island.
We put together a strategy targeting managerial positions across the Retail Sectors. This is a real push on the Retail Sector to gain a better understanding of the new security features, with an aim for the app to be rolled out to all employees. It is also a gender neutral campaign focusing on key ‘hot spot locations’ throughout the Bahamas. Primarily on schools and their teachers. The messaging would be a clear CTA on schools downloading the app to educate the next generation.
